Letter #42

Hey all... How was boatin?? I heard that the weener gots a hole.. GOSH DArn IT!! Maybe you could sew it back to gether or somethin..
We went cavin yesterday with some members. It was awesome. It was a real adventure. Taylor and Courtney went with us and it was a blast. They are just like my little sister, but only in TN. It has been pretty hot here. I'm still sportin the braid so that keeps me pretty cool durin the days.
I am havin a lot of fun on my mission, not really ready to go home yet. I meet a lot of interesting people here. It is pretty funny. How is Livvie and Easty and all ya'll doin?? I noticed that you all's emails just get shorter and shorter through the mish. haha.. Mine do too!
We are teachin a lady named Laura and she is commited for baptism on the 24th of July. She is a member referral. Gotta love the member referrals!! We meet her this week. So that will be excitin.
I found out that people here call shopping carts - (Buggies)... and that I am a East Tennessian! People say fixin and they call pop - COKE.... It's funny...
We done did a lot of tracting this week. This week has been bible bash week. We taught a guy last night named Jason and he says "I am gonna convert you 2 girls over to bapist"... and I thought oh gosh... He was so so very confused about every thing about god. I said to Him Jason look how confused you are! You gotta read and pray about the Book of Mormon before we'll even come back to visit you! I asked him if he would come to church and he flat out said NO I will convert you all to baptists. So that was a red flag for me. I knew we had to go.. I thought he prolly just wanted some sweet luvin too. lol....gross...
We have had some very spiritual experiences this week as well. Heavenly Father sure does have an important part. One thing I've learned this week is that you have to rid yourself of ALL DISTRACTIONS..... I can't believe how one type of conversation can distract the spirit from you.. It is really hard for me now since I have almost completed my mission. I just really wanna stay focused.
