Today I was talking with a good friend and I was telling about how inadequate I feel to serve a mission and how I just don't feel like I know a lot. This is what he told me, "You will do great. It's your heart that makes you adequate, not what you know." I think thats totally true. It made think a lot and I think it can apply to life in general as well. I am so EXCITEd! woot! I wish I could leave tonight!

yep its true. I'm gettin trunky to leave. WHY!! So guess what the doctor cleared me on last friday and I will be able to turn my papers in Tuesday night. The day has finally come! I never ever thought that it would come and I can't tell you how happy I am. I have this feeling I am going to get called to serve in like Wyoming or the Billings Montana mission... haha.. Some state close to Idaho. O now that would be freaking awesome. It is pretty cool because some of my best friends have just returned home off their missions and I am just about to leave. So I get to hear lots of good words of wisdom. & I don't own a pair of panti hoes.. So That is on my list of needs for the mish. haha

Friday the 13th Surgery

Here are some pics of my surgery that everyone has been wanting to see. I had a goiter (a large lump) in my throat that was the size of a baseball. The lump was attached to my thyroid. So they had to remove my entire thyroid. I opted to have the surgery before my mission. So I had to stop with all my mission papers and have surgery. My thyroid levels were totally normal and I was not sick at all. I just had a large goiter. I FEEL SO much better. I didn't know I was so sick at the time, but I can breath a lot better and I feel more confident. I am not hypo or hyperthyroidism. I just don't have a thyroid. My levels are totally normal. I just have to take this pill every single day for the rest of my life.

I HOPE.. they call me on a mission... when I have grown a foot or two...

No mission call yet! I am just getting really antsy and excited to LEAVe! I didn't think that I would ever get this way, but Oh I am so ready to go out and teach people. I am just waiting on a few medical things to be taken care of, and then I will be able to put the rest of my mission papers in. So I constantly think about "a mission" all day everyday. I just like day dream in my head about it and the different experiences that I will go through. It is pretty awesome. ha ha. I am ready to get my call and start shoppin for some cute little missionary clothes. : )... I can not WAIT!! I will keep everyone posted on where I get called.
